Toronto Film Festival: 'Lovely Molly' Star Gretchen Lodge (Video)

Among my personal favorite reasons for the Toronto Film Festival is they don't arrive their nose in the horror genre--actually, they've a whole portion of the festival known as "Night time Madness" for films they screen at night time devoted towards the horror/thriller/cult genre. Among the 2010 most anticipated Night time Madness movies was "Lovely Molly," written and directed by Eduardo Sanchez, among the co-company directors of "The Blair Witch Project." The film is comparable to "Blair Witch" only for the reason that it is a low quality, you will find handheld camera shots, and it provides a kick ass role for any female actor within the lead. Within this situation, the title role of Molly is performed through the fantastic Gretchen Lodge in...wait for this...her first feature film role.Let's focus on the enjoyment part: works out Lodge discovered the part with an ad in our personal Back Stage. I have located the initial casting notice, published following the jump, once the film was initially entitled "The Possession." The film focuses on Molly, an old drug addict and newlywed, who moves back to her childhood home and starts to see strange phenomena. It is a demanding role that needs lots of Lodge, and she or he provides inside a raw, vanity-free performance that really improves the film. Find Out More ON Behind The Curtain
